Randomized, double-blind, 12-week trial in 240 adults with visceral obesity.
Participants consumed 583 mg/day of catechins (vs 96 mg in the control group).
This quantity corresponds to that used in Slimming Tea.

RESULTS

  • -2.3 kg of fat mass in 12 weeks (vs -0.9 kg for the control group)
  • -4.6% visceral fat (measured by scan)
  • Significant reduction in waist circumference and BMI
  • Improvement in lipid profile ( ↓ LDL, ↓ total cholesterol )

DESCRIPTION

Randomized, controlled trial, 36 weeks, in 94 overweight adults with diet-related constipation.

Supplementation with Cassia obtusifolia seeds (0.3–3 g/d).

RESULTS

  • Significant improvement in stool frequency and consistency (p < 0.05)
  • Reduction in bloating and abdominal discomfort reported by 64% of participants
  • Significant reduction in waist circumference in parallel (synergistic slimming effect)

Randomized, double-blind, 12-week trial in 60 overweight adults (BMI 24–28).

The lotus leaf extract contained in the Slimming Tea corresponds to the amount used in the study.

RESULTS

  • −2.8 kg of total fat mass in 12 weeks
  • -5.4% visceral fat in men
  • Significant reduction in waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio

DESCRIPTION

Meta-analysis of 6 randomized, controlled clinical trials in overweight/obese adults receiving glucomannan (Konjac) as a supplement (≥1 g/day) for 2 to 8 weeks .

The objective was to evaluate the effect on weight loss , body composition and metabolic markers .

RESULTS

  • Significant weight loss :
    - 0.21 kg at 2 weeks
    - 2.04 kg at 4 weeks
    - 3.17 kg at 8 weeks (vs placebo)
  • Reduction of body fat mass (DXA)
  • Improvement in total cholesterol and LDL
  • Decrease in triglycerides and fasting blood glucose
  • Beneficial effect on intestinal transit thanks to the fiber content (increased feeling of satiety)

DESCRIPTION

A meta-analysis of 22 randomized controlled clinical trials was conducted in 5,144 adults , receiving NAD⁺ precursors compared to a placebo.

The objective was to evaluate the impact of increased NAD⁺ levels on weight management , body composition , and metabolic markers associated with obesity .

RESULTS

  • -0.19 kg/m² average reduction in BMI vs placebo
  • Significant increase in adiponectin
  • Significant improvement in metabolic markers associated with weight management

DESCRIPTION

Randomized clinical trial on 15 women with cellulite on their thighs and arms.

Twice-daily application of a cream containing 3.5% caffeine and xanthenes, for 6 weeks .

RESULTS

  • -0.7 cm thigh circumference in 6 weeks
  • -0.8 cm arm circumference (inner side)
  • -19.8% improvement in the visual cellulite score
  • 90% of participants reported firmer and smoother skin
  • Good tolerance, only mild, transient tingling
